Change of Plans

Unfortunately this is the latest email i received from Weirfield Wildlife Hospital:

Hi Maria

Unfortunately we would not be able to offer a lot of visits as we are very busy throughout the day and have a lot of volunteers on site that need to be supervised, you would also need to be supervised going in the pens with the animals. Also the day to day jobs of the centre are basically the same every day and with it being quiet time for us with it not being animal breeding season yet we do not have over many animals in to be photographed.
Unfortunately due to us taking on volunteers from the age of 13 they would not be able to be filmed or photographed without parental permission.   Have you looked into doing the project as places like the Woodside falconry centre? As they have a lot of different animals and volunteers in most of the time.

So i am having to find somewhere else to produce my documentary. I have contacted Woodside and am waiting on a response. If i have not received anything by the 27th February i will phone them to ask and organise visiting.
